There is more than posting a pretty website. Let’s take the similarity of an Author writing a book without sending it out to Publishing Company and having them print and sell your book. As you know Publishing Company is only a good choice if they are able to get your book out on all the book-store shelves. 

The Publishing Company has been doing this for years; they know what the public is looking for, what they are attracted to, how much they are willing to pay and know where the customers go to purchase their books.

But let’s say you do it by yourself. You type up a manuscript and take it to a printer, select the paper you want, submit some art work for the cover and decide whether you are going Paperback or Hardcover.

Now you have paid the Printing Company

and a truck comes a week later with 50,000

Yes that is like a book collector with a large truck going around the countryside and picking up newly authored books and taking them to a local library. Backing up to the loading dock and dumping the books inside the warehouse. Some of these books do not have dust covers advertising the content, not all of these books are coded and have the codes labeled on the books, they all do not have their titles printed on the covers and some books have pages missing.

Now the Librarians get busy …. (on the Internet these are the Spiders, Robots and Crawlers that work for the Search Engines) - They check out the books first with attractive dust covers illustrating their contents. Second look for books that have been coded and check to see that these coded books have all their pages and that their titles are reflecting the contents inside.

Those that are hard to read or have not been coded or have pages missing are discarded to a sub department or basement. Those books where the title does not reflect the contents are set a side in another sub department.

Our job is to make these books friendly for the Librarians. Not that we are going to ask you as a client to change the title of your book or re-write the contents. We do have some inside tricks to make the Spiders, Robots and Crawlers think they are getting the real-deal.
